COVID-19 Compliance

This COVID-19 Pandemic has challenged our schools to adapt and pivot at a moments notice. Like many businesses, we've been forced to limit numbers in our buildings, take temperatures at the door, and sanitize EVERYTHING multiple times a day. We feel we held an advantage during this pandemic, however, because much of the new cleaning requirements enforced by our State Licensing Department and the CDC, in response to the pandemic, were precautions our schools were already taking.

Here is how we are adhering to State Licensing requirements and the CDC guidelines, to ensure all students, parents, and staff are safe while attending school at ABC:

• We have a designated staff member to wipe down "high touch areas" every hour of the day.
• We temperature screen upon arrival.
• Masks are required for all Staff, as well as for parents signing in or signing out students.
• Students are offered one-time-use sensory activities and non-communal toys that are sanitized after each use.
• Students are given their own box of school supplies, to limit communal boxes of crayons, scissors, markers, etc. that spreads germs.
• Children are encouraged to wash their hands multiple times a day, affording our Teachers to discuss what it means to practice good hygiene.
• We've limited our student to teacher ratio to 1 teacher for every 10 students.

We understand the uncertainty and fear that has transpired during this time. Our number one priority is the safety of our students, just as the safety of your children is your number one priority. We acknowledge the trust and faith our parents must have in us to continue to place their children in our care in the midst of a global pandemic. We will continue to go above and beyond what is being asked of our schools to keep our students safe.
